Lincoln Owners Club

The Classic Lincolns of 1920 to 1939

General Discussion

Volunteers needed to defend the Lincoln marque

This was an April Fool's Day post, FYI. It was received quite well on the AACA Website. This site sadly has very little traffic and less participation, I'm afraid.

I'm sure many of you have grown weary over the years listening to Packard owners continually blab about how much better their cars are than our Lincolns. I'm so sick of it that instead of standing by, I'm going to do something about it the old-fashioned way. I'm looking for some tough-minded Lincoln owners to join me in crashing the annual Packard Meet on July 12, in Warwick, Rhode Island. I'm going there looking for trouble and setting the record straight on which automobile is better. Obviously, it's the Lincoln. If you're timid and afraid of confrontations, don't bother. I'm looking for men (and women) as strong as our Lincoln autos.

Contact me, Jeff Deringer, if interested.
