Hello esteemed community. I am writing on behalf of a friend in France who is restoring a 1924 VIN 22407
We are trying to decipher the codes on the body tag which we found on the seat frame. Hopefully the picture will come through.
Based on the excellent book "Lincoln Product Information 1921-1939" which I found in the Documents section of the forum, in 1924, a body type 124-A is a Touring body made by Brunn which seems right. But on our car, the tag only says "Body type 124, without the -A. What does the -A mean?
And, under that, it says NO-2-2771. What does that refer to? I searched this site but could not find the meaning of that one.
