Technical questions related to the Lincoln "K" model

1932 KB Interior

Postby Broadsword25 » Sun Nov 22, 2009 6:00 pm

Just joined this forum and have been a LOC member for about 5 years. I am restoring a 1932 Lincoln KB. I am currently in the research phase of the restoration and I have a upholstery question: I understand the original material was made in Scottland and imported to the U.S, can this material still be found? If not, what have some of you used for upholstery? I still have much of the original upholstery in it with the exception of the seats and carpet. The doors, ceiling, and linging are still the original Blatic Grey. Thanks.

Hi, I have a restored 1933 KB and would send you a photo of the inside if you like. I have the name of the former owner who did the restoration and he might be able to assist. Cheers, Beverley
