I found some industrial die springs for the vibration damper on my '29. Ordered them from Associated Spring on line. They matched the factory spring spec. very closely, but they are slightly smaller outside diameter.
Associated Spring part number: CV0750-1500-075.
These are alloy steel, fatigue resistant, edgewise wound with flat wire instead of round.
