I'd like to install a side view mirror on the hinge of my 1936 K Sedan to improve safety while driving. Can anyone tell me if these are a press fit with a split ring keeper on the bottom side? Mine are unfortunately covered in a heavy coat of paint and before I start thrashing around it would be most helpful to know what I'm looking for.
