Frank, I have the detailed assembly drawing from the parts book but not enough info to see how it comes apart. I don't imagine from your description that what you have will help.

I have a copy of the Bendix Brake 1929 service bulletin for Lincoln. It has some nice figures for the front, not so much for the rear. There is a large sheet with a schematic of entire brake system. I can send these scanned to you if it would help.

The 29/30 rear brake has a foot operated shoe set and a hand brake set. I have the outer foot brake parts off but can't figure out how the carrier plate between the foot and hand brake shoes comes off. I want to clean and lubricate the hand brake components. Has anyone done this? is there a legible drawing around?
